The Beechcraft King Air 360 is the latest evolution of the enduring King Air 300-series turboprop platform, building on decades of proven operational performance. Announced in 2020 as the successor to the King Air 350i, the 360 incorporates several key upgrades designed to enhance both pilot experience and passenger comfort.
At the core of its improvements is the integration of digital pressurization and an automated cabin pressure controller, reducing pilot workload and enhancing passenger comfort. The cockpit is equipped with the Collins Aerospace Pro Line Fusion avionics suite, providing advanced situational awareness features, touchscreen displays, and synthetic vision. The aircraft is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-60A turboprop engines, each delivering 1,050 shaft horsepower.
The King Air 360 offers a maximum cruise speed of 312 knots and a maximum takeoff weight of 15,000 pounds. It has a certified ceiling of 35,000 feet and can operate from shorter runways than comparable light jets. The aircraft’s total cabin volume is 344 cubic feet, and its cabin accommodates up to 9 business passengers in a typical configuration, excluding crew. The cabin retains the signature square-oval cross-section of the King Air line and includes updated materials, redesigned cabinetry, and enhanced noise insulation.
Since its entry into production in 2020, the King Air 360 has appealed to corporate operators, air ambulance providers, and special mission services seeking a reliable, versatile turboprop with modern avionics and a refined interior.
