Raisbeck Engineering was founded in 1973 as a provider of aerodynamic enhancements to already certified aircraft. In what is a crowded and competitive field, Raisbeck has a reputation of being one of the best. Since 1982, more than 5,000 individual Raisbeck systems have been installed on various King Air models and currently, about one-third of all King Air 200/B200s flying have a Raisbeck modification installed.
The Raisbeck modifications to the King Air 200/B200 line include:
• Hartzell/Raisbeck Quiet Turbofan propellers
• Engine ram-air recovery system
• Enhanced performance wing leading edges
• Dual aft-body strakes
• Fully enclosed main landing gear doors
These modifications improved short-field performance, increased cruise speeds and lowered interior noise levels.
