The Beech Queen Air made its first flight on August 28, 1958. Deliveries began in late 1960 and production ran for almost 20 years. This first model combined the wings, undercarriage, Lycoming engines and tail surfaces of the Twin Bonanza with a new, larger fuselage. The Queen Air B80 was the last major production model and was introduced in 1966. It featured a longer wing span and higher MTOW. Production of the Queen Air ceased in 1977.
