The Learjet 75 is a development of the Learjet 40. Improvements include TFE 731-40BR engines, canted winglets derived from Bombardier’s Global jets, and Garmin G5000 avionics. The new engines allow the Learjet to climb faster and have better short-field and high-density altitude performance. As an added bonus, fuel efficiency is improved by approximately 4 percent.
The Learjet 75 is a longer cabin version of the Learjet 70, however, both cabins have sidewall cutouts for extra storage and modern seats and headliner. Added comforts for passengers include the Lufthansa Nice HD cabin management and entertainment system, with 7-inch monitors at each seating position, and uniform sound-producing transducers in place of speakers throughout.
