The Dassault Falcon 2000LXS is a super-midsize business jet that represents the pinnacle of the Falcon 2000 series evolution. Building on the success of the Falcon 2000LX and 2000S, the LXS merges long-range capability with short-field performance, making it one of the most versatile jets in its class. It was officially launched in October 2012 at the NBAA convention and received EASA and FAA certifications in April 2013. Deliveries began in 2014.
Derived from the Falcon 2000EX platform, the 2000LXS incorporates several key engineering upgrades. These include full-span leading-edge slats for improved lift and short runway access, blended winglets for aerodynamic efficiency, and the advanced Honeywell EASy II flight deck. The aircraft also features the optional FalconEye Combined Vision System, enhancing situational awareness and enabling approaches in low-visibility conditions.
Powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW308C engines, each delivering 7,000 lbf of thrust, the Falcon 2000LXS achieves a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles and a top speed of Mach 0.86. It climbs directly to 43,000 feet in just 23 minutes and cruises efficiently at Mach 0.80. The aircraft has a maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) of 42,800 lbs and requires only 4,675 feet for takeoff, with a landing distance of 2,260 feet. The cabin volume measures 1,028 cubic feet, with dimensions of 26 ft 2 in length, 7 ft 8 in width, and 6 ft 2 in height.
The cabin accommodates up to 10 business passengers in a spacious, quiet, and light-filled environment. It features two distinct seating zones, customizable layouts, and advanced connectivity via FalconConnect. Eighteen large windows and superior soundproofing contribute to a comfortable and productive inflight experience.
Operators value the Falcon 2000LXS for its unique blend of intercontinental range, fuel efficiency, and ability to access challenging airports. Its wide-body comfort and advanced avionics make it a preferred choice for corporate and charter missions worldwide.
