The Phenom 100 is a very light jet developed by the Brazilian aircraft maker, Embraer. The program was launched in May 2005 and the first flight of the prototype took place July 26, 2007, at Sao Jose dos Campos in Brazil. The Phenom 100 is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW617F engines, each producing 1,615 pounds of thrust. The avionics are the Garmin G1000 Prodigy suite.
EV is short for evolution. The Phenom 100EV features upgraded PW Canada PW617F1-E engines that offer more speed and hot and high performance. The avionics suite is also upgraded to a Prodigy Touch Garmin G3000 system.
