Extra Aircraft Company, normally known for their highly competitive aerobatic aircraft, is the manufacturer of the Extra 500, a composite, single-engine turboprop business aircraft. A six-seater pressurized aircraft, the cabin is outfitted with leather seats, 12-volt power outlets and a six-place intercom. The cockpit includes an Avidyne Entegra 2 avionics suite, as well as an S-Tec 55X autopilot. Power is provided by a Rolls-Royce 250-B17F/2 450 shp engine turning a five-blade MT composite propeller.
