The Gulfstream G800 is the flagship of Gulfstream Aerospace’s ultra-long-range jet family, introduced in October 2021 as a successor to the G650ER. Designed to push the boundaries of intercontinental travel, the G800 shares its wing, fuselage cross-section, and Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines with the G700, but prioritizes maximum range over cabin length. The aircraft achieved FAA and EASA certification in April 2025 and entered service shortly thereafter.
Powered by two Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 turbofans, each delivering 18,250 pounds of thrust, the G800 offers a maximum range of 8,200 nautical miles at Mach 0.85 and 7,000 nautical miles at Mach 0.90. Its top speed reaches Mach 0.935, making it one of the fastest jets in its class. The aircraft has a maximum takeoff weight of 105,000 lbs and requires 6,000 feet of runway for departure. It cruises at altitudes up to 51,000 feet, enabling smoother routing and reduced fuel burn.
The cabin spans 53 feet 6 inches in length and offers up to four distinct living zones. With a cabin height of 6 ft 3 in and width of 8 ft 2 in, the G800 accommodates up to 19 business passengers in various configurations. Gulfstream’s signature 16 panoramic oval windows provide abundant natural light and expansive views. The aircraft features a low cabin altitude of 2,840 feet at cruise and includes a 100% fresh air system with plasma-ionization purification.
The G800 combines record-breaking range with cutting-edge avionics and refined comfort, making it an elite choice for global operators with demanding nonstop travel profiles. Deliveries are expected to begin following FAA certification.
