History: The PA-46 Malibu Matrix is an un-pressurized version of the Malibu Mirage. The removal of pressurization lessens the weight a little and the price a lot. This allows Piper to take aim at a whole new market with the venerable six-seat single. A 350 hp turbocharged Lycoming driving a three-blade Hartzell propeller, powers the Malibu Matrix.

Handling and performance are strong suits for the Malibu Mirage. The cabin is snug, but adequate.
